Founding Physician

A physician who practices differently

I was in pursuit of optimal health long before my first day of medical school.

Dr. Hoff earned his medical degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine, where he was selected as Chief Resident, and is board-certified in Emergency Medicine with 20 years of practice. Years on the front lines taught him how often patients arrive in crisis from problems that were preventable — root causes no one had the time to find. True You is his answer: a boutique practice with the time, testing, and attention that real prevention requires.

A lifelong pursuit of optimal health

Over more than 35 years Dr. Hoff has trained as a black belt in karate, competed in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with the Carlson Gracie Jr. team, earned a red sash in Southern Praying Mantis kung fu, and trained in bodybuilding under Lee Haney and Brian Dobson — working for years as a personal trainer and nutrition coach along the way.

That lived experience shapes how he practices: nutrition, movement, stress, hormones, and recovery treated as one connected system. It is medicine for the person who refuses to accept that aging poorly is inevitable.
