Peptide Therapy · Getting Started
How to Get Started With Peptide Therapy
No mystery and no gatekeeping — here is exactly what happens from the first appointment to a prescribed protocol.
It starts with an evaluation, not a product
Peptides are prescription therapies. Getting started means being properly evaluated by a physician who can determine whether they’re appropriate for you, choose what fits your goals and labs, and follow you afterward.
At True You that evaluation is unhurried on purpose. Dr. Hoff limits his patient panel so the first appointment is long enough to cover your history, your goals, and the things that might be limiting you before peptides ever enter the conversation.
How it works
From first appointment to protocol
Four steps, all physician-led.
-
01
Step 1
Your first appointment
Goals, history, training, sleep, and what you’ve already tried. We establish whether peptides are even the right tool.
-
02
Step 2
Labs & assessment
Testing well beyond a standard panel, so the plan is built on your data rather than on a category.
-
03
Step 3
Your protocol
If peptides fit, Dr. Hoff prescribes a specific peptide and dose, filled through a licensed pharmacy, with instructions for use.
-
04
Step 4
Follow-up & adjustment
We review how you responded, re-test where it matters, and adjust, continue, or stop accordingly.
Come prepared
Useful to bring to the first appointment
- Any labs from the past year, even if you were told they were normal
- A list of medications and supplements you currently take
- What your training and sleep actually look like in a normal week
- The specific outcome you want — recovery, composition, energy, longevity
- Anything you’ve already tried, including things bought online
